Pastor Ezekiel Atayero Adeleke, hailing from Ilesha in Osun State, was born into the family of Apostle and Mrs. Moses Adeyokunu Atayero. Growing up with a pastor father who founded THE MOST GLORIOUS APOSTOLIC CHURCH, he came to know God at a young age. However, his involvement in the church was limited to attending services with his parents. After his father’s death on September 25th, 1987, he had his first divine encounter in 1989, when he began hearing the voice of the Lord, though he didn’t fully understand it. Despite his youth, he delivered messages to those they were meant for, often leaving them astonished.
In 2002, a pivotal moment occurred that marked the beginning of a series of encounters confirming God’s call on his life. While in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, he dreamt of a man who introduced Himself as Jesus Christ, holding a picture in His hands, though Ezekiel didn’t take Him seriously at first. In 2003, God instructed him to deliver and reconcile men to Him, referencing Isaiah 61:1-3. The following year, in a vision, God promised to use him when he was ready to submit fully. Then, in April 2005, Jesus appeared to him in a dream, where he witnessed God healing a dying man. As he marveled at the miracle and wished to be the one performing it, God said, “I will use you, and you will do what you see me doing right now.”
He also went to The Redeemed Christian church Bible College Lagos Nigeria. (RCBC)
On January 3rd, 2006, in a vision, the Lord anointed him with oil in a bell. Following this, on August 29th, 2007, the Lord spoke clearly in another vision, saying, “My Son, I’ve prepared you for my assignment,” and gave him the name THE CROSS later that same year in Uyo. Although he didn’t immediately start a church service, despite being convinced of God’s call, he chose instead to begin ministering God’s word and counseling on January 9th, 2008, at RCCG Living Stone Assembly in Lagos. He was later transferred to RCCG Olive Parish, where he was ordained as a minister, continuing his service in Lagos State, Nigeria.
He then launched the ministry God entrusted to him, THE CROSS CHRISTIAN CENTER, beginning with a Wednesday program called Healing Hour. This program later gave rise to a quarterly event named NIGHT OF GATHERING AT THE ALTAR (NOGATA) on December 2nd, 2009. The vision of NOGATA is to reach both saved and unsaved souls through Crusade outreaches, touching many lives and bringing countless testimonies that have led souls into the Kingdom of God at TCCC.
On October 10th, 2010 (10-10-10), the Lord commissioned Pastor E.A. Adeleke to start Sunday services, which he began by the grace of God. Since then, the church has experienced tremendous growth.
Pastor Adeleke is known for his humility and dedication to the Lord’s service, upholding absolute integrity and nurturing an unwavering passion for the poor and needy, both in his immediate community and globally. In a world where the love of many has grown cold, he finds joy in reaching out to the less privileged in society. He is a rare man of God who operates in the fourfold offices of pastor, prophet, evangelist, and teacher, with a deep passion for global soul winning. A tireless prayer warrior, he assists many in reclaiming the destinies and glories stolen by the enemy.
He is hardworking, exceptionally kind, yet firm. His life is marked by wisdom and modesty. A quick learner, he expects the same from those around him. He despises idleness and unrighteousness, which is why his messages consistently emphasize the importance of holiness.
Pastor Atayero Ezekiel Adeleke is a devoted and caring husband, a quality reflected in the love and attention he showers on his wife and children.
